The Sony DTX-10 is a digital audio tape car stereo combined with FM/AM PLL synthesizer tuner.
The DTX-10 is the only in-car DAT player produced by Sony.
In addition to being a DAT player and AM/FM radio, it could also control a Sony CD changer.
DAT cassette player section
The Digital Audio Tape player offers excellent sound quality. 8-times-18bit over-sampling digital filter The AMS (Automatic Music Sensor) function allows you to locate the beginning of a selection quickly. The Intro Play function plays the first ten seconds of each selection. The Repeat Play function enables a repeat play of the selection you are now listening to.The Skip Play function enables you to skip any portion that you prefer not to listen to.
Tuner section
SSIR (Sony Super Interference Rejection) PLL Synthesizer tuner The Automatic Memory function stores a total of 24 stations in memory quickly and easily. The Memory Scan function scans preset stations for five seconds each in order. The extended range in AM band (530-1,710 kHz)
