Description
The HHB-1 is a professional portable DAT recorder made for HHB by AIWA.
It is larger than the Sony Datman and features an all metal case.
It accepts three types of power, a rechargeable PB-20 battery, 10 AA cells or a power adaptor.
The power source can be changed whilst recording without interruption or glitch.
It has XLR mic in, RCA line/mic in, RCA line out, and a wired remote.
Original price of $1400 (US Dollars)
Features
Reliable connection obtained with the Cannon connector
The Cannon connector (for XLR-5-1 1 C) analog line input enhances reliable connections.
Continuous recording using batteries
Ten LR6 alkaline batteries allow continuous recording of up to three hours.
Digital audio recording conforming to the AES/EBU* standards for professional use
Three choices in power sources allow you to use your HHB 1 PRO anywhere.
You can choose a power source either a rechargeable battery, alkaline batteries or AC adaptor.
A/D (analog/digital) converter unit incorporated
Both digital recording/playback and analog recording/playback are possible with this unit.
High speed search by sub-code detection
With this unit, the following sub-codes can be registered on a tape: A.TIME (Absolute time), START ID (Start identification), PROGRAM NO. (Program number). By detecting the registered sub-code, you can search for the beginning of a selection at high speed.
- AES/EBU stands for Audio Engineering Society/European Broadcasting Union.
